How does Euro Homecare define in home assisted living care?

Caring for a loved one can be physically demanding and mentally draining. If you are searching for assisted living care, but your loved one is able and would prefer to remain in the comfort of his or her own home, Euro Homecare provides customized solutions for all your loved one's daily living needs. Our European homecare providers are skilled, compassionate, multilingual individuals who can help your loved one maintain his or her daily routine, while living within the comforts of their own home. Our experienced home caregivers can live in or provide hourly assistance with any daily task, including light housekeeping, errands, chores, personal grooming, medication reminders ... whatever your loved one requires. Each provides safety, stability, companionship, and a kind, caring environment when you can't be there to help.

When you or your loved one needs assistance to take a walk in a local park, remembering when to take daily medications, or perhaps they just need someone to talk to, who can provide stimulating activities and social interaction. Euro Homecare will match the needs of you or your loved one to one of our caring staff. And if the needs of you, or your loved one change over time, we will re-assign a care giver whose background and experience is commensurate with your changing needs.

Assisted living is a term used for a level of care in situations where you or a loved one needs help with or is unable to complete tasks of everyday living. Assisted living care services can range anywhere from in home hourly caregiving, to private apartment facilities that offer medical support staff and common social activities, to fully staffed facilities for seniors who require more attention on a daily basis.

When everyday tasks such as making a meal, choosing clothes to wear and remembering medications become a challenge, assisted living programs are designed to provide your loved one with help in every detail. Assistance can mean simple activities such as meal preparation and laundry to more personal needs such as bathing and dressing.

Sometimes in-home care is sufficient and for other situations, a fully staffed facility may be required. The level of assistance your loved one requires should be determined by his or her doctor and you should be prepared to review several facilities. The facility you choose should be able to adapt a program that suits the specific and changing needs of your loved one.
